Originally manufactured by N’Gant Zarvel, the NZ 9118 is a heavy carbine design known for the loud, thumping sound it makes when fired. The NZ 9118 is an exceptional weapon, for it possesses a large range and stopping power that was not sacrificed for the higher rate of fire, as is traditionally associated with carbines. In addition, the weapon has seen limited civilian use, as the lack of a stun setting relegates the NZ 9118 to purely lethal, offensive roles. Although compared to others of its kind, the fact that the weapon is relatively accurate and easy to use makes it a popular choice among special forces and guerrilla fighters.
